Nepal Ice 11th Crity Awards successfully concluded on August 30, 2019 amidst a ceremony at Soaltee Crown Plaza, Kathmandu. Crity Awards is the largest award program in Nepal where different advertising agencies are awarded for the exceptional advertisements they produce.
This year, a total of 61 agencies were competing to win in 31 different categories out of which, Avani Advertising and Business Advantage emerged as the stars of the night, bagging 6 awards each. They were followed by Prismark Marketing with 4 awards and Outreach Nepal also with 4 awards. Other winners included V-Chitra, Consult One and Digitalin each securing 3 awards; Key Advertising, Original Entertainment and Meeting Point winning 2 awards each and AD Desire, ANS Creation, Full Circle, Impact Advertising, Makeways, Mars Ad & Research, M Max Creation, The Square, Creo Communication, DG Advertising, Media Journal and White feathers all coming out with 1 award each. We would like to congratulate all the winners once again and would like to show a huge respect to all the participating agencies for the marvellous ads they produced.
But whatever the trophy count, the ultimate winner of the night was the Nepali ad industry because it showed just how dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate the people involved in this sector are. The quality of the works submitted, the standard of all the nominees and the increasing involvement and young blood should cause everyone to be optimistic about the future of Nepali advertising.
The event was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister for Communication and Information Technology Mr. Gokul Prasad Baskota who was also the chief guest. Mr. Rabindra Kumar Rijal ‘Sashi’, President of Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) chaired the Awards. The entire ceremony was broadcast live on all the mainstream television channels of Nepal and was also covered extensively by the press.
So, it is now time to bid adieu to the festivity that was the Nepal Ice 11th Crity Awards. The Awards will return next year for its 12th instalment, continuing to acknowledge the incomparable ads that our agencies produce. And next year looks even brighter because of the clean feed policy which will hopefully be implemented before we celebrate the 12th Crity Awards.
